Be sure to check out the Release Notes history at: Release Notes History to see what previous versions included.
Features
- If you are upgrading from v.3.98.07 or early, now you can get a head start on takeoff using Takeoff Boost™!
- Reminder: Takeoff Boost is a subscription-based feature and requires its own, unique license key, separate from your OST (takeoff) license key.
Changes
- Takeoff Boost now supports multi-page PDFs.
- Allow user to stop Boost (up to the point that it begins saving Results for a Page).
- AI Improvements - Takeoff Boost generates straighter linear takeoff and fewer vertices on area takeoff (requires fewer adjustments).
- Updates to several Takeoff Boost dialog boxes to make them clearer and more user-friendly.
- When Takeoff Boost returns Results, any Boost Layers that were hidden (turned off) but are used for the current results will be shown (turned back on).
- The prompt that shows when you open the Image Tab on a page that is backed by a PDF to "Convert to TIFF" no longer displays.
Fixes
- ON-5320 - Attempting to close a database while Boost is processing does not update condition results.
- ON-5323 - The Boost toolbar/button is now visible upon upgrading or fresh installations. You can hide this toolbar/button if you don't use Takeoff Boost.
Known Issues
- ON-5391 - Takeoff Condition Result quantities disappear after setting Decimal Places to Floating.
- ON-5328 - the View (3rd) Window closes when you close the AutoCount preview window
- ON-5366 - In the Layers window, you cannot use the up arrow to move a Layer up in the list - workaround is to move the layers above the selected layer down.
Please check the previous versions' Release Notes for "Known Issues" for earlier versions.
