Learning Goal
The goal of this chapter is to explain to you how you can make adjustments to various Labor activities and their associated costs in your bids.

When you add Material or Labor Items to your bid, many take on "Defaults" as setup in the Masters. Equipment and Other expenses can be added using Assemblies from the Masters. These are great starting points but may require a little 'fine-tuning' before you considering your Estimate done.

In this chapter, we're going to cover:

  • How Labor Production is calculated
  • Adjusting Labor Production on a Line Item, Condition, or Bid level
  • Swapping one Labor Cost Code for another
  • Refreshing Wage information from the Masters
Let's start with adjusting Labor Production. You can adjust Labor for a Line Item (in the Condition's Item Grid), for an entire Condition, or at the Bid Level. We cover each in the next few articles
