Symptom

You are unable to open any databases in On-Screen Takeoff® or Quick Bid® while running SpyHunter® 3 - Security Suite.

Discussion

With SpyHunter 3 - Security Suite running, you attempt to open On-Screen Takeoff or Quick Bid and the databases do not appear on the Bids Tab. The Open Databases window initially shows the databases as being unchecked. Once checked, the databases will not open. Entering the Open Databases window again will show the databases selected. A new database can be created, but it will fail to appear on the Bids Tab.

Resolution

First, you need to report this to your IT person - he or she needs to figure out a way to configure your security software to allow your products to run properly.

Next, the workaround is to disable SpyHunter while you are using On-Screen Takeoff/Quick Bid:

You will need to exit SpyHunter 3 - Security Suite by right-clicking the icon on the Taskbar and selecting Exit.

Once SpyHunter 3 - Security Suite is shut down, close and then re-open On-Screen Takeoff and/or Quick Bid. This will allow the databases to display.

Warning
Be sure to re-enable your security software as soon as practical. Your PC may be vulnerable.
