Issue
Microsoft Windows allows a user to 'pin' shortcuts to often-used programs to the Taskbar. After installing an update to On-Screen Takeoff or Quick Bid, this shortcut will likely be broken.
Resolution
After installing the update for On-Screen Takeoff and/or Quick Bid, pinned shortcuts on the Taskbar will be broken - this is how Windows works when a program is uninstall/reinstalled (which is what our upgrades do).
To remedy this, - Right click on each 'broken' icon and select "Unpin from Taskbar" (if you cannot 'unpin', just click on it, Windows will tell you it cannot find the program and ask you to delete the shortcut, click 'yes')
- Then, open On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid, and right-click on the taskbar icons (again) and select "Pin to Taskbar"
This will fix the pinned shortcuts until the next time you upgrade the programs - unfortunately, this is just how Windows works.
