Project Express Overview video

On Center Software is partnered with Hightail.com (formerly YouSendIt.com) to provide clients who use a licensed version of On-Screen Takeoff and who maintain a Maintenance Subscription with On Center Software a way to send, receive, and manage Bids from within On-Screen Takeoff. We call it Project Express - a file management and sharing utility available only to licensed users of On-Screen Takeoff that allows for sending and receiving Bid data to and from other On-Screen Takeoff users - RIGHT FROM THE SOFTWARE!

To use Project Express:

• You must be using the current version of On-Screen Takeoff and have a valid license for TKO or Digital Production Control or DPC-Foreman.  If you do not have a license, the Project Express Tab is disabled.

• Your Maintenance Subscription with On Center Software must be up to date.  Each time you send files via Project Express, refresh your Inbox or Outbox, or refresh the Account Information dialog, your Maintenance Subscription is checked.  If your Maintenance Subscription with On Center Software lapses, you will no longer be able to use Project Express and an error message will display when you access the Project Express Tab.

• Obviously, you must have an active Internet connection.

• A limited Project Express account is free for users who maintain their Maintenance Subscription with On Center Software.  If you require additional monthly bandwidth, send/receipt notification, or send file sizes larger than 100MB, you can upgrade your account.  Several upgraded HIGHTAIL Service Plans are available for use with Project Express - for more information, please visit: http://www.oncenter.com/products/ost/project_express/plans.html

If you do not have a current Maintenance Subscription with On Center Software, contact Support for information on renewing your Maintenance Subscription.

• When sending/receiving files through Project Express, it is important that Project Names do NOT contain any special characters (anything other than standard alpha-numeric English characters) and that the Project Name is 25 characters or less. See the FAQ "Invalid Characters" for additional information.
