Using the Digital Takeoff Table™
On Center Software is proud to announce the Digital Takeoff Table. The revolutionary hardware device allows you to draw, directly on your electronic plans using a more comfortable motion than a mouse will ever afford.
Digital Takeoff Table Reference | |
Digital Takeoff Table™ |
Looks a little like a monitor which, really, is what it is. It is a Pen-Enabled monitor on which, using a Stylus, you draw takeoff directly on the screen. Not to be confused with a Tablet PC which is a fully functioning computer in a pen-enabled format. |
Stylus Pen |
Tool used to draw directly on a pen-enabled monitor. This prevents the monitor from mistaking fingers or hand touches incorrectly. |
Mouse Pad Template |
Used to define a region of your table as a mouse pad. When you click your stylus in the defined region, its acts as a mouse rather than a takeoff tool. Use the mouse pad template and your stylus as you would a regular mouse. |
Buttons |
There are 4 buttons on each side of the table which are assigned to common functions for which you would normally use the mouse or keyboard. |
Template |
Included with your Digital Takeoff Table is a removable template which indicates what the side buttons do as well as gives you information on common shortcuts and pen strokes. There is a Left and Right side template - reverse them if you are left handed and set the Table to Left Handed mode. |
Follow the instructions below to install your Digital Takeoff Table. You will need to install any drivers provided by On Center Software before On-Screen Takeoff will recognize the device. If you do not have the necessary drivers or installation information, please contact the Support.
