Importing and Exporting - Overview
On-Screen Takeoff gives you the ability to import and exporting information into and from the your database easily.
You can import:

Bids (as an OST Takeoff File or OSP Bid Package)

Employees (using the included template as a starting point)

Master tables (using synchronization (see Synchronizing Databases for more information)).
You can export:

Bids list (from Print Preview)
-
Takeoff tab information (to a CSV file, from Print Preview and via Copying/Pasting)

Worksheet tab information (to a CSV file, from Print Preview and via Copying/Pasting)
-
Bid information (OST File)
-
Bid Package (OSP file)
-
Database Information (using synchronization (see Synchronizing Databases for more information)).

NOTE: When you EXPORT information, the information is never deleted from your database. |

CAUTION: When you IMPORT information, your existing information may be overwritten. |
