Manually Entering Takeoff Quantities on the Worksheet Tab

In some cases, you may not wish to actually takeoff a condition. You may already have a known quantity for the condition (such as the number of footings or fixtures) and simply wish to enter the quantity result manually.

Additional Information: First, create your condition as you would any other condition. See Conditions for more information.

Once you create the condition go to the Worksheet tab and you will notice the takeoff quantity is listed as zero in a blue font.

NOTE: If a condition has yet to be used to perform takeoff (been used to draw takeoff), you can enter manually a value in that cell. Once a condition is used to perform takeoff, you cannot manually enter values.

In this example shown below, notice the Condition named VCT Tile. The quantity is zero and noted in blue.

Change that value manually from zero to 250.

Manually entered quantities will always remain in blue font.

NOTE: If you enter a manual amount on the Worksheet tab, then return to the Image tab and draw any takeoff with that condition, the manual entry will be removed in favor of the drawn quantity.
