Although On-Screen Takeoff is a phenomenal program on its own, the information wouldn't be very useful if you couldn't share it with others. We provide options for Importing and Exporting information, sending via Project Express and good, old-fashioned Printing.
You can print any Tab in On-Screen Takeoff. The Bids, Takeoff and Worksheet tabs are discussed in Importing and Exporting. This section focuses on printing Images - your plans and takeoff objects.
If you are experiencing problems with printing your plans and/or takeoff, visit the FAQs on our web site.
You must be on the Image tab to print images.
To print an images or images, from the File menu, click Print, press Ctrl + P on your keyboard, or click the Print icon, , or File > Print Preview. The Print Preview dialog appears.
Select a Range of pages to print. Print ranges include Current View (default), Current Page, Pages with Takeoff and All Pages.
If you select All Pages in a large Bid, it may take several minutes for the program to cache the images before the display, please be patient.
Select the Size to which you want to print your images. To print to scale, select 100%.
Put a check next to Show Footer to show it, or leave blank and the footer will not print. The footer includes the Page Name, the % of scale at which the page, the Project Name and the current date and time.
Use the One page,, or Multiple pages, , icons to select how many pages to display on the print preview.
When in multiple page view mode, you can access the Crop check box, (this does not alter the image, only which PAGE is sent to the printer. Check this box, select an image to print, and when you print, only this page will be printed.
When you print the Image Tab, What You See Is What You Get! If you have any layers turned off - takeoff assigned to that area will not be printed or visible on the Print Preview. This is very helpful if you have multiple CSI Divisions taken off on the same page. You can suppress different layers and provide just what your employees need to get the job done.
