OST - 10.05.02 How Condition and Typical Group Results Change After Placing Typical Group Markers

As you drop Typical Group Markers on your plans, the Results for the Conditions used within the Typical Group Frame, and the Typical Group itself update.

Conditions and Typical Group Results

In the example below, one (1) Typical Group Marker is placed on the page.

  • Qty 1 for Typical Group 1 increases by 1
  • Quantities for the Conditions Interior Walls and LH Door increase according to the takeoff contained within the frame (they increase in this example, however, you can set takeoff inside the Typical Group Frame to "negative" which would reduce the Condition's Page and cumulative Results. See Related Articles for details on "negative" takeoff.)

ALT TEXT

When you delete a Typical Group Marker(s), the quantities for that Typical Group, and any associated Conditions, are adjusted accordingly.
