The Image Toolbar provides options for changing the way On-Screen Takeoff displays images and takeoff.

  • Converting to TIFF creates a new TIFF file in a "Converted" folder where the original file is stored. Your original file (PDF, typically) is not altered.
  • Rotating or flipping a Page rotates or flips any takeoff and annotation on the Page also. If you don't want the takeoff or annotation rotated, cut and paste it to a different Page (which removes it from the original Page), return to the original Page and rotate it as needed, then return to the temporary Page where you pasted the takeoff, and cut and paste it back to the original Page.
  • Rotating and flipping only changes how On-Screen Takeoff displays the image and does not edit the image itself (except for Overlays, covered in Related Articles).
    • If the underlying image is removed, any takeoff rotated along with the page is rotated back to "0" degrees.
