The Image Toolbar provides options for changing the way On-Screen Takeoff displays images and takeoff. - Converting to TIFF creates a new TIFF file in a "Converted" folder where the original file is stored. Your original file (PDF, typically) is not altered.
- Rotating or flipping a Page rotates or flips any takeoff and annotation on the Page also. If you don't want the takeoff or annotation rotated, cut and paste it to a different Page (which removes it from the original Page), return to the original Page and rotate it as needed, then return to the temporary Page where you pasted the takeoff, and cut and paste it back to the original Page.
- Rotating and flipping only changes how On-Screen Takeoff displays the image and does not edit the image itself (except for Overlays, covered in Related Articles).
- If the underlying image is removed, any takeoff rotated along with the page is rotated back to "0" degrees.
By default, this toolbar is docked on the right-side of the application, below the Rotate/Flip (takeoff) toolbar. Button Icon | Name/Description | What it does/What it means... |

| Convert to TIFF | Converts the current Page's underlying image file to a TIFF. if you notice it takes a long time (several seconds or more) to navigate between Pages, try converting your image file to a TIFF - you may see marked performance improvements. If you're viewing a PDF and there are other PDFs in the project, OST prompts you to "Convert All" - this can take a few minutes, but every file that can be converted to TIFF in your project will be. Original files are not altered, a new TIFF copy of each plan is created and stored in a "Converted" folder and then the Cover Sheet is updated to point to this new TIFF file. | | Rotate Image Left | Rotates the entire image (page) to the Left (counter-clockwise) by 90 degrees. | | Rotate Image Right | Rotates the entire image (page) to the Right (clockwise) by 90 degrees. | | Flip Image Horizontal | Flips the entire image (page) Horizontally (side to side). | | Flip Image Vertical | Flips the entire image (page) Vertically (top to bottom). | | Adjust Plan(s) | Opens the Adjust Images dialog box where you can make several changes to the display of a plan. You have the option to apply these changes to all plans in the current project.
