On-Screen TakeoffNew Features and Changes
- On-Screen Takeoff is now compatible with VTablet Interface and GTCO Tabletworks 10 software.
- When using an Excel spreadsheet in conjunction with OST users are now able to make changes in the spreadsheet (i.e. add / delete rows or columns) and still have OST link to the mapped cell. This link allows OST to follow the quantity in the mapped cell to the new location in the spreadsheet.
- In the event that On-Screen Takeoff stops responding, a dialog box will now indicate that “A General Exception Error has occurred.” The error that caused the problem can be reported to On Center Software for use in improving future versions of the program. A dialog box will be displayed and include a button to send a log file to On Center Software. This will create an email with a small text file attached that will give On Center Software specific information about the problem and assist with troubleshooting and developing a solution.
Digital Production Control (DPC) Enhancements- The Budget tab column layout has been rearranged for ease of use. Column groupings are more easily identified and an additional column for hours has been placed in each row and added to the ‘Production’ column group.
- The Budget Report now matches the Budget tab in OST and prints in landscape view for better presentation.
- There is a new Context Menu option in the Image tab enabling the user to select labor objects that are in % values. Users simply right click on a labor cost code and objects will be displayed in a best fit view. ◦Selecting 0% objects will select all labor objects not yet started.
- ◦Selecting 1-99% objects will select all labor objects that are started but not finished, any value between 1-99% values.
- The use of negative numbers will now be supported in the Timecard tab and correspond to calculations in the Budget tab and summary calculations.
- All Takeoff layers are now incorporated in DPC enabling the user to easily view all Cost Code objects.
Other changes- A single installation of OST will now support multiple Secure Transaction Server (STS) client IDs. The STS Wizard’s address confirmation dialog now reminds users of three features ◦‘Use default setting’ is checked by default
- ◦Client ID is pre-populated with the AS Client ID from the 'License Authorization' dialog. The AS Client ID is displayed by default
- ◦Unchecking the 'Use default settings' check box blanks out the Client ID and checking it populates the Client ID
- Includes changes made in OST v.3.3.0
- A System Time Stamp and User Name have been added to the status bar
