You can adjust Markups by either updating the one bid section (Section Mode), all sections (Bid Mode), one bid section (Section Mode) and all accepted alternates or all sections (Bid Mode) plus all accepted alternates. What is updated depends upon what you have selected as your Viewing Option. Remember, Section Markups relate to escalation, tax, per diem, overhead and profit.
To Adjust Section Markups
Click the Markups tab.
Double-click on the section to which you need to make adjustments, or select the section and right-click to select Show Markup Detail from the menu or click on the section once and press Enter your keyboard. The Markup Detail dialog appears.
You may make changes to Escalation, Tax/Burden Overhead and Profit for Materials, Labor, Equipment and Other.
Only those fields with white backgrounds can be adjusted.
Make your changes and press the Enter key on your keyboard. All other fields affected by your change will be updated.
Use the 
and 
buttons to make adjustments to the previous
and next sections listed in the Markups
tab.
Clicking 
or pressing the F2
key on the keyboard will bring up the notes section. Type
notes that relate to the markups for your reference.
Click 
to save all your changes.
