Before you create your first bid in a new database, you need to setup your default preferences for the database. These preferences are sometimes referred to as Master level preferences. Setting up a default preferences and master lists will save time and ensure that future bids are accurate.
You should have already setup your Master Menu Lists/Tables, if not check out 5.00 Master Menu Tables
There are 3 steps left before you start bidding:
Setting Default Database and Program Options.
Setting Payroll Wages and Burdens.
Optionally, you can also create Named Sets of Active Bid Sections.
