5.03.05 view window
The View Window is a second Image window that can display a different page of a project or a Named View. This is very handy to keep a Detail or Schedule page up on one monitor while performing takeoff on a plan on a second monitor.
Activate the View Window by pressing <Ctrl> + <2> or clicking View > View Window. By default, the View Window launches when a Named View is accessed via a Hot Link, see Using Annotation for more information.
When the View Windows opens, there is a toolbar at the top. All functions are the same as the main Image Window toolbars, there are just fewer of them.
Select a specific page from the Pages drop down:

Many estimators find it beneficial to create a Named View for the detail pages/sections of their plans - they then can easily access these details when performing takeoff on the regular plans while keeping the details open in the View Window on a second monitor.
