Undo

<Ctrl> + <Z>

Undo the last takeoff action

• Changes to the database (editing Master tables) cannot be undone with Undo

Redo

ReDo the last undone action (active when the UnDo function was used)

Cut

<Ctrl> + <X>

Cuts (moves) a selected item from its current location for the purpose of pasting it to another location

Copy

<Ctrl> + <C>

Copies a selected item for the purpose of pasting it to another location

Paste

<Ctrl> + <P>

Pastes a previously cut or copied item into the selected location

Duplicate

<Ctrl> + <D>

Creates a duplicate of the selected object and places it in the same location automatically. Duplicating applies to Bids, Conditions, Styles and Style Sets when selected.

Copy Current View

Copies current view as a bitmap for pasting in a different application like an e-mail or a document

Copy Selection

Copies selection made with roping as a bitmap for pasting in a different application. Select this option, then draw a box around what is to be copied and then right-click over the selection and select Copy. Then, paste the copied information into a document or e-mail.

Delete

<Delete>

Deletes the selected item(s) (Bid, Conditions, takeoff objects, or Master table entries)

• Takeoff deletions can be 'Undone'; Base Bids are moved to the Deleted Bids folder; Master Table entries, Conditions, Alternates and Changes orders are immediately and irretrievably removed from the databases.

Select All

<Ctrl> + <A>

Selects all objects depending on where the last focus was (if it was a Condition, selects all Conditions; if it is on the Image Window, all Takeoff is selected ,etc.)

Select Objects in Current Area

Selects all objects that are located in the currently selected Area on the page

Set Scale

Set the scale for the current page

• It is VITAL that you Set and Verify scale BEFORE doing ANY takeoff.  See Setting the Scale of an Image.

Calculate Scale

Calculates the scale according to a known measurement between two points on the Image or Drawing.  See Calculating the Scale of an Image for more information.

Rename Page

Rename the current page.  See Navigating and Managing Plans for more information.
