Exporting Bids
There are 2 file types to which you can export your bid:
- OSP Bid Package file
- OST Takeoff File
Both of these send all condition and takeoff information, the OSP Bid Package gives you the option to send images as well. This is a handy way to share an entire project with another On-Screen Takeoff user.
NOTE: To export to an OSP Bid Package file, On-Screen Takeoff must be authorized with at least a TKO license. |
There are several methods for exporting a bid. First, you can Send the bid to another user using the Send function in the program. This is more of an automated process and very easy to use. Sending creates an OSP file which gives you the option to include all of the images for the project.
You can also manually export a bid to a file (either OSP or OST). OST Project Files are used for exporting On-Screen Takeoff information into an estimating program.
