Quick Bid - 04.02.05 Downloading Suppliers by State - QB

You can download a list of area-specific Suppliers \(Suppliers are any Contact marked with a Contact Type of "Supplier"). If you are looking to download Manufacturer Databases or Assemblies, see Related articles.

To download Suppliers, open the Contacts (Master) list.

Click on the Download button in the bottom right corner.

Next, select the State applicable to your needs from the drop down list (you can download as many as you like, one at a time).

Click "Yes, download for this state:" button after you've set the state

Quick Bid contacts ConstructConnect's server to verify you are eligible to download the Supplier list, then imports the list into the Contacts table. You are notified when this is complete (it takes only a few seconds).

You can modify any of these Contacts just like if you'd added them yourself - or delete them altogether. If you delete something you later realize you need, just download that State's Suppliers List again.

Updates and Changes

If you notice something wrong with a Supplier's entry (phone number, address, company name, etc.) please contact Support to correct this information.

If you know of a vendor who you think should be added to the download list, contact Support for that, also.

Off Maintenance?

If you have allowed your Maintenance Subscription to lapse, you will not be able to download Suppliers from On Center Software and will receive the following error.

Importing Contacts
