After installing the LMAdmin portion of ELM, you will need to install On Center's Activation Utility (and vendor daemon).
Locate the file "ELMPhy1.2.0.4Setup.exe"(compatible with x86 and x64 bit operating systems) wherever you saved it. (You can download it here, if you haven't already: Download ELM Installer).
Do not install the Activation Utility until you have installed LMAdmin v.11.13 or higher. See previous article for instructions.
If you have already installed LMAdmin and the service is running, stop it before continuing with this installation or ELM will not be configured correctly and will not work.
Double-click the installer file and the installation files are unpacked.
After unpacking, the installer Welcome screen displays.
Click Next, the End User License Agreement displays; read and/or print the EULA.
Select "I Accept..." and click Next. Click Cancel if you do not agree with the terms - you cannot install or user ELM without accepting the EULA.
Click Change to select a different installation folder or click Next to install to the default folder. We recommend you install to the suggested folder.
Verify that the path listed is where LMAdmin is installed on this server. If you accepted the defaults in the previous article when you installed LMAdmin, the path should be correct. If you have installed LMAdmin in a different location, browse to that location and then click Next.
In the Ready to Install the Program screen, click Install, the Windows User Account Control prompts you to confirm installation.
A progress indicator is displayed while the Activation Utility and the On Center Vendor Daemon are installed.
When the installation finishes, click Finish.
Now that the software components are installed, make sure your firewall and security settings will not conflict with the license manager's operation and then Activate your license codes, and start the server.
