13.02.02 ComputerEase™ Accounting Export

Quick Bid supports several different Accounting Exports. Our developers worked with ComputerEase to determine what was needed to import the information into their software.

ComputerEase does not accept Cost Codes or Account Codes that exceed 6 characters or Area names that exceed 4 characters. Before exporting the Job Budget File to ComputerEase, verify that all Cost Codes and Account Codes in Quick Bid are 6 characters or less and that all Areas in Quick Bid are 4 characters or less.
On Center Software does not provide assistance with importing the Budget File into your Accounting package. Accounting packages are very complex and the vendor of your particular Accounting package is best equipped to support it.

To export the budget to ComputerEase Accounting software,

Click the Exports button on the Bid toolbar
Select Job Budget File

Click the Options Button - the Modify Options for Job Budget File dialog box opens
From the Export Format drop down, select ComputerEase (exports to a CSV file)

Select the options and filename/location where the export files is to be saved

The Budget File export allows you to create a Budget in ComputerEase, based on the final Bid information from Quick Bid. For assistance importing a budget file into ComputerEase, please consult your ComputerEase User Guide or ComputerEase's support.
