The Edit menu provides access to basic editing commands (such as copying and pasting). Most options on the Tools Menu correspond to a button on the Main Toolbars.

<Ctrl> + <Z>

Removes the last entry typed or undoes the last action if possible

  • Changes to the database (editing Master tables) cannot be undone with Undo

Cut

 

<Ctrl> + <X>

Removes selection to the clipboard

Copy

 

<Ctrl> + <C>

Copies selection to the clipboard

Paste

 

<Ctrl> + <V>

Pastes previously cut/copied selection from the clipboard to the current focus

Duplicate

 

<Ctrl> + <D>

Duplicates the currently selected Item, Bid, Condition, etc.

Delete

 

<Delete>

Deletes whatever currently has focus.

  • Base Bids are moved to the Deleted Bids folder; Alternates, and Changes orders are immediately and irretrievably removed from the databases.  Entries on other Tabs are usually permanently removed by clicking Delete.
