Database Options Folders Tab

Use this tab to define the location of various folders Quick Bid uses:

Database, this is the default location Quick Bid will use when creating new and opening existing databases. Database can be stored anywhere, this setting only instructs Quick Bid where to start.

Backup, when backing up an MS Access type database, this is where the backup copy will be placed.

Package Folder, when create a Bid Package, this is the default folder where the *.qbp file will be stored. You can save the Bid Package to any location you choose, this is simply a starting point.

Report Builder Folder, indicates where the optional Report Builder utility is installed.

Report Builder Reports, indicates where the option Report Builder utility stores its report files

Update Location Folder, used with Enterprise Automatic Software Updates. If this folder is populated, Quick Bid will look here for updates, if this folder is blank, the application will check with On Center Software's web site for updates.   1. To locate a folder, click the Lookup tool .  The Browse for Folder dialog appears.

  1. Navigate to your desired folder and select it.

  2. Click to return to the Folders tab.

 

Now that you have finished setting Quick Bid Program and Database options, it's time to setup some Defaults before you can start bidding.
