3.01.00 quick start wizards
On-Screen Takeoff makes getting started with the program easy using Quick Start Wizards.
Quick Start Wizards are designed to get a new user up and running right away. It is still important to get to know the program's interface. To get the most out of On-Screen Takeoff, take a little time to review this User Guide and the training videos available by clicking Help > Training Central > Training Videos.
The Bids, Condition, and Takeoff Wizards can be turned off for seasoned users or once you're familiar with a function. PlanViewer (no license) users do not see the Condition or Takeoff wizards.
If you are using a shared database or store your images in a central, network location, please disable the Bid Wizard and use the "Creating a Bid From Scratch" method for creating Bids. (The Bid Wizard makes a LOCAL copy of all Image files - they will NOT be available to other users.)
Simply place a check mark in the 
check box
at the bottom of the Wizard and then click the Red X 
at the top of the Wizard to close it.
Open Tools > Options and remove the checkmark for Turn on all quick start dialogs (upper right side of dialog box)
Re-enable the Wizards by clicking Tools > Options and checking Turn on all quick start dialogs.
