There are nine menus running across the top of the On-Screen Takeoff application window: File, Edit, View, Tools, Image, Bid, Master, Digitizer, and Help.
Many of the menu commands appear in the toolbars as well. If a menu selection has an Icon (Picture) next to it - there is a toolbar button available for that command.
In addition to the nine menus, there are three buttons located on the menu bar - 'Request Feature', 'Request Support' and 'How Do I...?' - these buttons are links to the On Center Software Web site. See Help Menu for more information.
The name of the current Bid and database always shows in the Title Bar of the application along with the name of the product, On-Screen Takeoff Pro (licensed) or On-Screen Takeoff PlanViewer (unlicensed).
There are shortcuts for many actions and features in the product! These are helpful in saving time and increasing efficiency. Review the article Shortcuts, Keys, and Control Buttons for more information.
This documentation may contain information about features and functionality not included in the version of On-Screen Takeoff you are currently using. Contact your Account Manager or Support to discuss upgrading to the current version of On-Screen Takeoff which includes all features and functionality detailed in this documentation.
