Options Dialog - Fonts/Colors Tab
The Fonts/Colors dialog box lets you specify what Font and/or Color is used when creating annotation in your projects. For more information about annotation, see Using Annotation.
Click Tools > Options > Fonts/Colors.
Highlight the item to modify (Text, Area Label, Image Legend and so on).
Then click the Change Font or Change Color button(s) to make set defaults.

Click the Change Font button, a Font dialog opens. From here, select the type, style and size of the font. |

Click the Change Color button, the Color dialog opens. From here, select the color of the font. |

NOTE: Remember, defaults only affect new bids and can be changed within bids at any time. |
